A photo of
Lieutenant Edward Bearman, pilot of a stricken B-25 who was rescued by
Lieutenant Frank Rauschkolb
on 04 March 1945. Lieutenant Bearman, along with 16 others, (3 complete B-25
crews) were rescued shortly after ditching their stricken bombers in the
sea. They had just completed a low level strafing run on Zamboanga, when
they were struck by anti-aircraft fire.
